Everyone I know who’s complained about how the iPad doesn’t do enough already has both an iPhone and a Mac laptop.

I’m just saying.

And have you noticed that the people who don’t want one at all also don’t have an iPhone or mac laptop?

Wasn’t trying to be a dick with my response. I’M just saying if you don’t care about apple products, this is just another thing not to care about.

But if Patagonia makes a case for it…. still won’t mean shit to me.

The great thing about the iPod was that it did one thing and did it better than anyone else, iPad does not have the same focus of purpose. It seems like it will probably be the best portable internet device on the market and would be awesome to have on a flight for watching movies, but it doesn’t look like a meaningful Kindle competitor.

I’m interested to see it in person, because the IPS screen might turn out to be great for reading, but I am skeptical and the relatively short battery life doesn’t help (10 hours vs. 2 weeks).
